The Year in Review (previously named the Annual Report) includes the organisation's financial statements and results for 2025, along with a summary of our work and key market data that tells the story of the year.
2025 was a landmark year for Recorded Music NZ as we:
- Rolled out a once in a generation system upgrade, including our new rights holder portal myRecordedMusic
- Unveiled a new Recorded Music website that integrates with the portal and makes it easier for rights holders and artists to access the information they need
- Delivered a distribution of just over $12m
- Celebrated the 60th anniversary of the Aotearoa Music Awards and the 50th anniversary of the Official Music Charts in Aotearoa
