Recorded Music is proud to support the most entertaining, toe-tapping and imaginative Awards in Aotearoa, the Aotearoa Children’s Music Awards | Ngā Manu Tīrairaka. The CMAs celebrate the incredible children's artists bringing creativity, education, fun and music together in a uniquely NZ way.
Recorded Music sponsors the Te Manu Taki Kerekahu o te Tau | Best Children’s Music Artist Tūī, which is presented at the annual Children's Music Awards event. In 2025, the tohu was won by Ōtautahi duo Loopy Tunes.
The CMAs are led by the wonderful Suzy Cato, with the support of Kiwi Kids Music, APRA AMCOS NZ and NZ On Air as well as Recorded Music NZ. The Kōkako Award for Best Children’s Performance is facilitated by the Auckland Philharmonia, NZ Opera and Kiwi Kids Music.
